i also expected the book to be soft cover and one of those address books that have a few colour images at the front and back and not much else - wow, was i impressed. lots of full colour images dating back from wonder woman's early beginnings to now - totally loved it!!! also has lots of room for actually writing in mutiple addresses - not just a couple of lines. the story of a missing container, which had mail amongst hundreds of other things, that finally found it's way to sweden
i wanted to let you know about my wonderful jt experience. i think in a previous life i must have done something horrible to nz post because this is not the first lost or delayed parcel sent to me while i was in sweden. but yours all worked out for the best. i have just started a nannying job for a gorgeous little girl. after rushing to pick her up, she spotted the parcel tucked in the backseat of my car, and we decided to open it together.
i don't know if you often send children JT packages, but wow, it was such an awesome experience. we so very carefully peeled off the beautiful layers. scissors, knives and all the child-friendly tools in the house were used. the little girl was particularly delighted with the bows, two of which she got to keep. i was overwhelmed with the quotes scroll page. it was amazing how well those quotes sum up the loves of my life: fashion, books, shoes, music and friendship. and then the package with the other love of life: chocolate! they were enjoyed last night over wine and two good friends, and we all agreed that cross-continent travel had not at all affected their deliciousness.
the most amazing touch for me, was the yeah yeah yeahs quote on the outside of the package. being one of my all time favourite bands, that was such a great touch. great quote from a great song. love!
so thank you so much, for what was a very special, touching package of joy. the little girl i look after and i had so much fun unwrapping and discovering all the little touches and bits, and I am so pleased that it worked out the way it did: opening a JT package with her was such a cool bonding experience.

My beautiful parcel: I left it sitting on my coffee table, all wrapped up, until last Saturday. Many people picked it up and all commented on the wrapping, and actually thought I must have some secret lover - a man of all our dreams who knows just want a woman wants.
Actually Anne's husband was looking a little jealous too! As I was feeling very self indulgent ordering it for myself, I was happy to savour every moment of the joy of such a beautiful object. Eventually, a friend unwrapped it last Saturday and can I say, we were all 'gob-smacked' at the fineness of the book. (the Lover's Path) We didn't even get to thinking about the story - we were just taken with the gold pages, the hidden letters and the overall presentation of the book. I have since had my nose firmly entrenched, and just love it. One friend was caressing her cheek with the wrapping paper - another was really in love with the JT gift card.
Apart from your obvious talent and skill in the creative arts - and marketing. I was also delighted with the swiftness of delivery (especially considering it was from another country), and also your very inclusive customer service was superb. It felt like we were a team and we all know how great it is to go shopping with a trusted friend, who knows your taste better than you do yourself, and who will also give permission for you to spoil yourself!
Do you ever go into a shop and see wonderful things, and just wish you could think of someone to buy them for? That's how I feel.
