our main passion at jumping tangents is to provide an enjoyable and truly unique gifting experience to both the recipients and the givers of gifts.
our focus is upon sourcing original and uncommon product and creating truly personal vintage-themed gifts for people. we know that it is the simple things in life (like brown paper packages!) that matter, and we want to make it easy for you to let your loved ones know that they are indeed loved.
every single customer, including of course yourself, is incredibly special and valuable to us and will always be treated with outstanding personal service. jumping tangents, literally and metaphorically, is a place of respite and comfort for everyone and we want you to know that you can return to visit us as often as you like.

since its conception in october 2006, jumping tangents has been a family affair. the brain-child of cathie, it has blossomed as a business to include her husband tim and her two daughters claire and kimberley. there is also aliscia who works with us and a wonderful team of part timers all filling wonderfully individual roles. we all believe strongly in the concept behind jumping tangents and hope that we are helping to make a change in the world, however small, by enabling people to touch the lives of those they love in a small, simple, but special way. the world can never have too much love, after all!
